The Raptors partnered with Bell to launch Year 3 of Bell Inbound Assist, a purpose-driven program supporting new Canadians through basketball. The campaign used grants, community storytelling, fan engagement, and Raptors platforms to help newcomer communities feel more welcome, connected, and supported.

THE PROBLEM

Bell wanted to be seen as more than a large telecom provider by showing Canadians how the brand creates real impact in their communities.

THE ASK

Build on the success of Bell Inbound Assist by expanding its reach, deepening its storytelling, and getting more fans involved in supporting newcomer communities.

CREATIVE INSIGHT

For new Canadians, basketball can be more than a sport; it can be a first point of connection, belonging, and community.

THE IDEA

Bell Inbound Assist 3.0: Bell Inbound Assist expanded its impact by awarding $30,000 grants to three community organizations helping new Canadians build connection through sport. Organizations: Asian Roots Collective, Scadding Court Community Centre & Pacific community Resources Society.
